We are seeking enthusiastic and driven high school and college students to become Financial Literacy Facilitator Corps (FLFC) members for a year-long, part-time internship (8-12 hours per month). You will have the unique opportunity to enhance your knowledge and application of personal finance information, and increase your financial literacy acumen, while making a positive impact on the lives of Charlotte, NC elementary school students. Through engaging sessions, you will receive pragmatic training useful to your own development to then help empower young minds with essential financial literacy skills, reinforcing the opportunity for financial success in the future for yourself and the students you will serve.

Calling college students identifying as Black and Latinx: Get involved with Money Magnets Club through an immersive experience during the semester or summer with our partner, Gardhouse. The Gardhouse approach helps you to nurture you authentic professionality, while giving you access to building social capital in support of small businesses, among other opportunities.

Have you ever wondered what it is like to run a nonprofit? This internship is designed to coach students around the operations and inner-workings of running a business, particularly a social enterprise. Interns will get a chance to learn in theory and practice, by reviewing detailed information on the subject and taking opportunities that will be presented to actualize their learning. The topics to be explored will be varied including compliance, event planning, human resouces, budgeting and fundraising, and marketing/communications.

This opportunity is a customized experience open to upperclass college students, graduate students and young professionals seeking to establish themselves in the Charlotte, NC nonprofit community.
